The Directorate of State Lotteries was created on 23.02.1995 to organize, conduct & promote the State Lotteries.

The Directorate of Small Savings and Lotteries was established w.e.f. 01.04.2006 by merging the Directorate of State Lotteries and National Savings Organisation into one Department under the nomenclature  Directorate of Small Savings & Lotteries.

The Chief Minister is the Minister in charge of the Department of Directorate of Small Savings & Lotteries. The Secretary (Finance) is the Administrative Secretary for the Directorate of Small Savings & Lotteries. The Director of Small Savings & Lotteries is the Head of the Directorate of Small Savings & Lotteries. The Joint Director of Accounts is the Head of the Office of the Directorate of Small Savings & Lotteries.

This Department supports Provedoria for the implementation of its various welfare schemes for the poor and underprivileged and the maintenance of old age homes and asylums in South Goa and North Goa. Further, these funds are also utilized to run the Sanjay School for Special children to join them in the mainstream, especially in the education system.

Goa Lotteries are conducting multiple weekly, monthly and special draws. We are participating in the following draws as of now.
